Leia Madden received her certificate in Art and Healing from Ringling College of Art and Design.  Formerly from Cleveland, Ohio, she was a recruiter for the Creative Division of American Greetings.  Leia is also a fine artist having studied fine art at the Cleveland Institute of Art and Cleveland State. Leia's personal work has been exhibited in numerous juried American Greetings Fine Art Shows.  She served as a co-facilitator at Health South in the Power of Art and Healing program extending Art and Healing work to neurologically impaired patients. Leia has facilitated  art and healing sessions to patients at Center Stone, Pace for at risk girls and women's groups.  Leia’s work is based on a belief that healing is in the creative process itself and we all have the power of “the know” for self healing.

She is a professional member of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association.
